Power steering kit, electric, suitable for VW campervans, Golf, Caddy, Escorts, +

This is a power steering Diy kit for the more capable mechanics out there. I also offer a ready to fit kit for Talbot Express campers and fit them as well, see my other items. I will also convert other vehicles if asked. This can be adapted to fit just about any vehicle without power steering, classic cars, classic vans, kit cars, grass track racers, custom cars. This kit consists of the main motor unit for the steering, (the torque sensor has already been adjusted on this motor to eliminate preference for turning one way). Lower UJ ready to connect to your steering shaft, upper splined sleeve ready to secure to your upper steering shaft (sleeve is approx 17mm diameter, can be left with original shaft welded in place if that will suit your vehicle better) and original motor bracket ready to modify for your vehicle. The electrical parts are the main steering Ecu, control box which you need to activate the Ecu, on/off switch and fuse holder + wire, this is everything you need to fit power steering to your non power steering vehicle. This will work on just about any vehicle being the robust Corsa B unit. I use an on/off switch in preference to an adjustable power knob because ALL the adjustable knobs on the market that I have tried are rubbish, they may work at the beginning but very soon you end up trying to tune into your power steering like an old shortwave radio, not very satisfactory. If you have a knob I find that you never really use it, they are only really for racing purposes. If you really want a power knob I can supply one.
